Hello I'm Nathan Harig and welcome to my developer site, iHarig!

I am a paramedic and Assistant Chief at Cumberland Goodwill EMS in Carlisle, PA. I came to Carlisle as a preschool kid when my father was assigned to the U.S. Army War College. A 2004 graduate of Carlisle High School, I then went on to graduate Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA with a BA in Political Science in 2008 Additionally, I hold a Masters of Arts in TransAtlantic Studies from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, which I earned overseas in 2010. I grew up in the town I now serve as assistant chief in, living with my wife Kristi, our daughter Anastasia, and Winston our corgi. I'm active in public relations and community education, chairing the "Carlisle's Got Heart" initiative to improve CPR survival and being a visible face for the media through outreach like "First Aid Friday" on Good Day PA.

I'm a self-taught programmer, developing first in Swift and now in React-Native. Because I'm doing this all on my own, please pardon any bugs you may find (but definitely let me know about them!).

I'm also an avid sports fan, especially of soccer - teams I support include VFB Stuttgart, Chelsea, DC United, Washington Spirit, Penn FC, and all the US National Teams.  I am not available for private hire, however rights to my apps may be purchased if the price is right. My love of the beautiful game inspired me to produce additional content, including the Unfamiliar F.C. podcast.
